The Orange County Department of Mental Health’s Developmental Disabilities Division is pleased to present the 2015-2016 calendar of free training and clinical consultation opportunities available through the Coordinated In-Home Supports (CIHS) Project. Although these opportunities are for CIHS mentors and parents of children enrolled in the project, they are open to the public as seating permits.The CIHS Project serves children on the autism spectrum with significant problem behaviors and their families. In-home skill building services are provided through six agencies (Access - Supports for Living; Crystal Run Village, Greystone Programs; Inspire, Mental Health Association, The Arc of Orange County). The Department of Mental Health provides oversight, clinical consultation, training for parents and mentors. The service is funded and supported by the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and Orange County Government.
